MEETINGS

The MCCSUN meets on Fridays from 10am-2pm, every other month during the academic year. Meeting months are September, November, January, March, and May. During each meeting every effort is made to provide a training event related to simulation. Subcommittee and work group meetings take place during October, December, February, and April.  There are no meetings scheduled during July and August unless needed.

MISSION

Collaborative network focused on providing quality simulation training resources and education for Maryland community college nursing program faculty and staff.

VISION

MCCSUN is a strong collaborative partnership of nursing and healthcare related faculty and staff members from community colleges across the state of Maryland, providing innovative educational opportunities and resources to promote the use of simulation in academia for the advancement of healthcare education in Maryland.

GOAL

The goal of MCCSUN is to increase the simulation technology comfort and skill level of Maryland educators to positively impact the success of future nursing and healthcare related professionals.
