President's Message: Conference Round-Up Edition
I hope you had as much fun as I did at the INACSL conference in San Antonio, Texas! What a great venue to share ideas, network with like-minded individuals, and gain so much knowledge about cutting-edge initiatives related to simulation. I'm glad we were able, during the business meeting, to share our initiatives related to our administration of the conference, our new and improved Web site, and our commitment to faculty development. Truly, one of the highlights was the National League for Nursing–Jeffries Simulation Project analysis led by our own Dr. Patricia Ravert. These sessions allowed the experts to present their topics while encouraging feedback by our members. I cannot think of a more wonderful opportunity to share our research and mentor others. Thanks to the project leaders and team members for supporting this important work, which will move the discipline of simulation forward. INACSL is extremely appreciative of the Laerdal Corporation's support of the Deb Spunt Mini Grants, which demonstrate the ongoing commitment of INACSL to support evidence-based simulation experience for our trainees.
