Conference and Registration Details

MCCSUN proudly presents the 3rd Annual Quest for Excellence Nursing Simulation Conference on June 5th and 6th, 2012 at Hagerstown Community College. The Quest for Excellence is returning to its roots with novice and advanced session tracks. Live pediatric and psychiatric scenarios will be offered, as requested by past conference attendees. This conference is customized to meet simulation educator needs from direct care to academia settings. Attendees will gain creative simulation ideas, new presentation methods and forward thinking curriculum trends from local and national experts.

This 2-day conference is designed to focus on the unique simulation needs of community college academia and the latest advancements that simulation has to offer. Sessions will be presented by experts in a variety of innovative training formats. The 2012 Quest for Excellence will be an opportune platform for enhanced simulation learning and networking with fellow colleagues.

MCCSUN is a strong collaborative partnership of nursing and healthcare related faculty and staff members from community colleges across the state of Maryland. Our goal is to provide innovative educational opportunities and resources to promote the use of simulation in academia for the advancement of healthcare education in Maryland.
